Live Edge Oak Dining Table

A formally simple but extremely pleasing 8-10 seater in some lovely, characterful Grown In Britain oak.

We left the natural shape of the timber’s edge, just removing the bark and outer layers of sapwood, but following each curve and hollow of the original tree to really connect the new owner to the tree’s organic form.

Finished straight off the drawknife and spokeshave, this process leaves a gorgeous tactile edge detail.

The white washed oil finish keeping it fresh and blending the paler sapwood with the darker heartwood.
