Dove Cabinet

Another piece we made to a fully resolved designer’s spec, focussing our energies and expertise on the entirely hidden, but gloriously complex joinery holding this piece together. Amongst others, there is lots of traditional interlocking mortise and tenon joinery that will showcase the cabinet’s decorative exterior for many a year to come.

Threw in some lovely playful curves to offset the carved timber and metal textures.

The doors and panels were carved by some very sore but happy hands, then bleached to create and almost stone-like effect, alongside real metal coated bronze legs and top. This was new aesthetic and technical territory for us, but we partnered with the industry leading Anka Bespoke Ltd to perfectly execute the marriage of metal spray work and textured walnut.
