Cartwright 2.0 Woven back

The second iteration of the Cartwright lounge chair.

This one features a flexible backrest wrapped in Danish cord, in a nod to the Scandinavian chair making vernacular that introduces Danish Cord to the palette of materials. Specifically referencing one of my favourite chairs, Hans Wegner’s Peacock chair.

This one is made in solid UK ash, finished in Indian ink.

This piece once again celebrates the craftsman’s tool marks.
